Ravindra Jadeja, the left-handed all-rounder who missed the T20 World Cup because of a knee injury, has been included to both the ODI and Test squads for India’s December tour to Bangladesh. Given that the New Zealand ODI tour concludes on November 30 and the Bangladesh series begins on December 4, leaving only a brief window for travel and recovery, the selection panel announced an extended team of 17 players for the Bangladesh ODIs.
For the Bangladesh series, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul will all be back, with the former serving as captain for both the ODI and Test legs. Yash Dayal, a left-arm pacer from Uttar Pradesh who is on the ODI team, has received his first call-up to the Indian national team.
