
Team India announces ODI squad for the upcoming South Africa series.
Rajat Patidar and Mukesh Kumar have received their maiden ODI calls from India for the forthcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa, which begins on October 6. The 16-member team, which will be captained by Shikhar Dhawan, includes Shreyas Iyer (vice-captain), Ravi Bishnoi, and Deepak Chahar, three of India’s T20 World Cup back-up players.
Shahbaz Ahmed, who earlier replaced an injured Washington Sundar in the ODI series in Zimbabwe but was unable to play, is also joining the team.
