Rahul Dravid tests COVID – 19 Positive ahead of Asia Cup 2022

Team India Head coach, Rahul Dravid, has tested COVID – 19 positive ahead of Asia Cup 2022 as the team India prepares to lock horns with Pakistan

Ahead of the opening tournament opener match against Pakistan, the Indian team’s head coach, Rahul Dravid, tested COVID – 19 positive. Rahul Dravid did not travel to Zimbabwe for the recently concluded Zimbabwe-India 3-match ODI series. India won the series by a 3-0 margin. KL Rahul led the side against Zimbabwe. BCCI announced the news from its official Twitter handle.

“Team India Head Coach Rahul Dravid has tested positive for COVID-19 in a routine test conducted before the team’s departure to the UAE for Asia Cup 2022. Mr. Dravid is under the supervision of the BCCI Medical team and has mild symptoms. He will join the team once he returns with a negative COVID-19 report. The rest of the team will assemble in UAE on 23rd August 2022,” read the statement.
