In a heartfelt moment, Cornwall dedicated his extraordinary innings to his son, whose birthday it was. He expressed his gratitude to the Barbados crowd for their unwavering support throughout the match.

“Today is my son’s birthday, and I dedicate this knock to him. My two sons always back me. The pitch was really good, and I backed myself. This is my first hundred, and I believe in my ability to give my team a strong start,” said Cornwall after the match. “The crowd keeps me going, so I want to give them something to cheer about. I haven’t gone past the powerplay often, but once I do, I know I can go big. Thanks to my family for their support.”
