WHICH WORLD CUP MATCH MIGHT BE DE KOCK’S LAST?

It is confirmed that this is De Kock’s last appearance in the Men’s ODI World Cup, but what awaits his journey is the wait to see which will be his last match. Well, there are three possibilities that could happen in De Kock’s last ODI match.

First and foremost, which even De Kock would be manifesting, would be the final of the 2023 World Cup in Ahmedabad. The star wicket-keeper batter would be wishing to lifting the World Cup trophy on 19th November 2023 before saying a final goodbye to his ODI career.

The second-best possibility is playing the semi-finals of the 2023 World Cup either at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai (November 15th) or at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata (November 16th).

If the South African team doesn’t make it to the semi-finals, then De Kock will have his farewell against Afghanistan on November 11th at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

However, we will keep seeing Quinton De Kock in action in the T20 Internationals.
