PSL: Peshawar Zalmi defeated Multan Sultans by 6 wickets

The big target of 180-runs set by Multan Sultans chased by Peshawar Zalmi in the 5th match of Pakistan Super League 2021. The batsmen of the team shown dedication from the very start. The team gets a good start with the help of the openers Imam-ul-Haq and Kamran Akmal. However, they lost 3 wickets in just a span of over or two but Haider Ali’s terrific end helped the team to get a victory over Sultans.

Multan Sultans set the target of 180 runs with the help of an astonishing inning of J Vince after losing their opener Chris Lynn on just 6 runs. Zalmi’s Tom Kohler scored a brilliant half-century in the match and helped his team to win over the oppositions by 6 wickets. The furious knock of Rutherford also contributed to the team score.


Shahnawaz Dhani picked 2 wickets in the match for Multan Sultans but couldn’t turn the game in the team’s favor. For Zalmi, Saqib Mahmood picked 2 wickets with an economy rate of 9. The match was always in the hands of Zalmi but some shocking wicket falls helped Sultans to make the grip. But unfortunately, they cannot make the full of the moment and lost the match.
