Pat Cummins has developed into a lethal bowler in all formats of the game but more so when it comes to the longest format. In the recent years the Australian has developed as one of the best when it comes to red-ball cricket. Ahead of India’s tour to Australia due to begin in a couple of weeks, the fast-bowler has had his say on the effect Virat Kohli’s paternity leave will have on the series and how the news has affected the home team’s camp.
“To be honest, we haven’t spoken too much about it. As a captain (Virat Kohli), obviously Indian team will be missed. It might not make a lot of difference. Not sure if Virat Kohli absence is going to be a deciding factor.” Cummins still believes that India have enough firepower in their locker to give the home side a tough fight and that Virat Kohli won’t be a deciding factor in the series.
