
Former Indian wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. Patel officially announced his retirement via his Twitter account. Parthiv Patel made his debut for India in the ODI against New Zealand in 2003 at the age of just 16. Patel is also the youngest wicketkeeper to represent a country in Tests.

The 35 year old played 25 tests and 38 ODIs for India and has also been a part of 3 IPL winning teams – Chennai Super Kings in 2010 & Mumbai Indians in 2015 and 2017.
The wicketkeeper/batsman’s highest score for India is 95 against England in an ODI in 2011.
