Rishabh’s injuries include two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, as well as injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and toe. His back also has abrasions. Rishabh’s condition is stable, and he has now been transferred to the Max Hospital in Dehradun where he will have an MRI to determine the full extent of his injuries and determine the next steps in his care.
“The BCCI is in constant touch with Rishabh’s family while the Medical Team is in close contact with the doctors currently treating Rishabh. The Board will see to it that Rishabh receives the best possible medical care and gets all the support he needs to come out of this traumatic phase,” BCCI secretary Jay Shah stated.
