In the 2nd Test match against West Indies, Shaheen completed a ten-wicket haul by taking 6 wickets in the first innings and 4 in the second.

The 21-year-old also has a record of being the youngest bowler ever to take a five-wicket haul in a World Cup match, finishing with his best figures of 6/35. He made this record in the 2019 World Cup match against Bangladesh.
