The wedding season in the Pakistan Cricket Team continues, with all-rounder Faheem Ashraf set to embark on a new journey as he ties the knot on November 25. The wedding festivities kicked off with a vibrant mehendi night on November 22 in Faheem’s hometown, Phool Nagar, located in Punjab’s district Kasur. The joyous event was attended by the cricketer’s close family and friends.
Interestingly, Faheem shares the same wedding date as fellow teammate Imam-uL-Haq – both cricketers will also host separate Valima Ceremonies on Sunday, November 26, at different venues. Faheem’s wedding will take place in Narowal, while the Valima ceremony is scheduled in Phool Nagar.
The news of Faheem’s engagement was confirmed by his close friend Hasan Ali back in August. The 29-year-old all-rounder, a regular in the Test team, has been granted permission to skip the training sessions for the upcoming three-match Test series Down Under. While pictures of Imam’s fiancée Anmol have surfaced, Faheem has kept his fiancée’s identity under wraps, following in the footsteps of teammate Shadab Khan, who opted for privacy during his wedding last year.
In the realm of Test cricket, Faheem has been a consistent presence, featuring in 16 Test matches, 34 ODIs, and 48 T20Is since his debut. As Pakistan undergoes a transition phase in Test cricket, Faheem will be eager to leave his mark against Australia.
