Pakistan sweep the series, beat West Indies by 7 wickets in the third T20I

Pakistan cricket team beat West Indies by 7 wickets in the 3rd T20I and clean sweep the series by 3-0.

Pakistan cricket team’s opening pair Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam’s half-centuries helped them clean sweep the 3 match T20I series against West Indies. They won their third and the last T20 against Nicholas Pooran’s men on Thursday. It was a very intense match but Pakistan handled the pressure situation amazingly and beat West Indies by 7 wickets.

The Visitors had a great chance to win the last T20I as they were brilliant with the bat. The openers of West Indies, Brandon King and Sharmarh Brooks played an amazing innings to give the visitors a great start in the last T20I. King’s 43 and Brooks’ 49 runs innings proved to be crucial, but their captain’s Nicholas Pooran’s 63 runs in just 37 balls helped them to reach the score of 207 at the end of 20 overs.

Pakistan cricket team was also off to a great start as captain Babar Azam scored 79 runs and his opening partner Mohammad Rizwan scored 87 runs for which he was been given the ‘Man of the Match’ award. Pakistan batsman Fakhar Zaman was not in a good touch today and he was dismissed by Romario Shepherd on 12 runs. Asif Ali came to bat after Fakhar went back into the dressing room and he was so good with his bat as his short innings of 21 runs in 7 balls helped Pakistan clean sweep the series against the Visitors. It was also Pakistan’s highest run-chase ever in the T20I format.
