Former Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur has arrived in Islamabad to join the Pakistan National Cricket Team as a consultant director for their upcoming ODI and T20 series against New Zealand.
Arthur, who is currently the head coach of Derbyshire County Cricket Club in the English County tournament, will join the team in Rawalpindi for the remaining two T20s.
The New Zealand cricket team is currently on a limited-overs tour to Pakistan, with a 5-match ODI series and a 5-match T20I series.
Arthur previously served as Pakistan’s head coach from 2016 to 2019, and his appointment as consultant director was made by Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Najam Sethi.
