Pak vs Aus: Pat Cummins disastrous early declaration helps Pakistan win the series decider

With the last two games resulting in a draw, both the teams are left with the last day of the last test to decide the winner.

The Aussie-Pak clash in the whites is arriving at its end as today ( March 25) will be the last day of the last test of this series and with the first two games resulting in a draw, today can be the series decider day for both teams.

The early declaration on Day 4 by skipper Pat surprised the fans and amused them, even more, when the hosts went 73-0 at the end of the day. Pat Cummins will probably be doubting his decision of declaring early since he had 7 wickets left.

The only benefit with reaps out from the talk is that we are yet to witness the magic of “reverse swing” and with the statistic revealing, it would be tough to score runs with the old ball.

Australia scored 391 runs in the first innings as the lethal duo – Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah conquered 8 wickets. Pakistan in their first innings came close towards the trail as they scored 268 runs. With more than 100 runs lead in the bag, Cummins decided to declare the innings early on Day 4 as Khawaja’s 104 not-out helped Australia to cross 200 runs in the second innings. Declaring the innings at 227-3, the fans believe that Australians could have pitched more than 100 runs to play safe as the game had more than 4-5 innings left.

With the last two games resulting in a draw, both the teams are left with the last day of the last test to decide the winner.
