After restricting Pakistan to 92/9 in 20 overs, Afghanistan seemed to have a great start in batting but the Pakistani bowling unit came on with a dominating performance as the top order of the Afghanistan team collapsed.
Naseem Shah struck a spectacular delivery to target Rahmanullah Gurbaz while Ihsanullah bagged in two wickets – Ibrahim Zadran (9 off 11) and Gulbadin Naib (0 off 2).

Earlier, Pakistanβs 92-9 total after choosing to bat first after winning the toss ranks as their fifth-lowest score in T20 international cricket. Pakistan lost a ton of wickets during the powerplay as their top order appeared bewildered by the swinging ball. The seamers did a great job moving the new ball in both directions.
The surface helped the spinners as they applied the squeeze because it was two-paced and the Pakistani batters kept being misplayed by the surface that held in. Even though Pakistan has some excellent bowlers, they will need to do something truly miraculous to win this match moving forward.
