On grounds of ‘humanity’, not exposing the name: Wriddhiman Saha

Senior Indian wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha says he won’t reveal the identity of a journalist who threatened him.

Wriddhiman Saha, who created panic with one of his tweets on Monday, once again won everyone’s heart by tweeting a set of tweets. In a series of tweets on Tuesday, Saha said he will keep the journalist’s name to himself on grounds of “humanity”.

Wriddhiman Saha wrote on his Twitter :

“I was hurt and offended. I thought not to tolerate such kind of behavior and didn’t want anyone to go through these kind of bullying.”

“My nature isn’t such that I will harm anyone to the extent of ending someone’s career. So on grounds of humanity looking at his/her family, I am not exposing the name for the time being. But if any such repetition happens, I will not hold back.”

Later via his tweet he thanked everyone who supported him in this and said that he is very grateful to all of them.

On Monday, Wriddhiman Saha had given information by tweeting a screenshot and alleged that someone so-called ‘journalist’ send him a threatening message for not giving him an interview. After this tweet by Wriddhiman Saha, former cricketers also came in his support and demanded the BCCI to investigate the whole issue.
