NZ v IND, 1st T20I: Predicted XI, match preview, venue and timings

Hardik Pandya will captain the Indian side for the second time in his career in the T20 series against New Zealand.

Indian cricket team will be up against New Zealand in the first T20I game which will be played on Friday, 18th November at Wellington Regional Stadium. There are not many senior players present in the Indian squad for this series. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli have been given rest for this series.

Not only these players, but the Indian team head coach Rahul Dravid has also been given some days rest. VVS Laxman will guide the team in the absence of Rahul Dravid for this series against New Zealand. Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya will lead the side in this 3-match series. This is the second time Hardik Pandya will captain the Indian team in a T20I series. The Indian playing XI is expected to include younger ones rather than experienced ones.
