The Australian cricket team is on a famous trip of Pakistan. In this bout, the first Test match of the series was played between the two teams at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, which culminated without any result.
After the deadlock of the game, concerns are being put forward on the pitch of Rawalpindi.
In this game, the pitch did not assist both the spinners and the fast bowlers. The batsmen of both the squads grabbed entire benefit of the shot to slash runs for themselves.
Altogether the test advanced very deliberately. Buffs were entirely disturbed by this manner of the pitch.
Speaking about the game, batting first after winning the toss, hosts proclaimed the first innings after slashing 476 runs for 4 wickets.
Azhar Ali bestowed 185 runs and Imam-ul-Haq bestowed 157 runs. Both the players shared 208 runs for the second wicket.
Australian batsmen also avenged and scored 459 runs seizing intense story of Pakistani bowlers. First, David Warner and Usman Khawaja provided the squad a tremendous onset with a stunning opening coalition of 156 runs.
Khawaja bestowed 97 and Warner bestowed 68 runs. Then the middle-order batsmen Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith and Cameron Green also scrubbed their scripts in the momentum set by openers.
Labuschagne bestowed 90 and Steve Smith bestowed 78 runs. At the same time, Cameron Green was spurned after slicing 48 runs.
On the fifth day of the game, Pakistan scored 252 runs without the loss of any wicket in the second innings. And the game culminated without any result. Abdullah Shafiq played an unbeaten innings of 136 runs off 242 balls.
At the same time, Imam-ul-Haq bestowed an unbeaten 111 while scoring a century in the second innings as well. Imam ul Haq declared man of the match.
While in the second test match, Australia might go with two spinners and Pat Cummins has also highlighted on this,
“From our intel in Karachi and Lahore, a second spinner is probably the way to go but we’ll have a look,” said Cummins as AFP reports, hinting that leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson, 28, could make his Test debut alongside veteran off-spinner Nathan Lyon.
“Just about everyone got into the series,” said Cummins, whose side made 459 in their only innings in Rawalpindi without anyone making a century.”
