Navjot Singh Sidhu celebrates his 57th birthday on 20th October 2020

Navjot Singh Sidhu is a former Indian cricketer who represented India in 51 Tests and 136 One Day Internationals. The batsman from Punjab was an explosive opener for the Indian team and had the ability to hit big shots while won the field. After retiring he became a commentator and was a permanent guest on the Kapil Sharma show. Sidhu joined politics and became a member of Bhartiya Janta Party in 2004 and stood for the general election from Amritsar. He later joined Indian National Congress in 2017.

Sidhu was called to the Indian national team for the 1987 World Cup where he performed outstandingly and later played the Asia Cup as well for the country. His best performance in a test match came against West Indies in 1997 where he scored 201 runs. He scored 134 runs and remained not out against England in 1993 which was his best ODI performance.

The prolific Indian cricketer celebrates his 57th birthday today i.e. 20th October and is being wished by various people on social media. The cricketer has contributed to the game of cricket and has won matches for the country which the nation tanks him for.
