Kartikeya Singh came in as a replacement for injured Mohd Arshad Khan. “Kartikeya has been impressive in the nets, and his learning trajectory on improving and fine-tuning his bowling skills has earned him the call up to the main squad,” said MI in its statement. The player’s recent Tweet revealed that he reunited with his family after 9 long years. Kartikeya Singh stood away from his family to make a name in Indian cricket and only then he could return to his house.
