Former India captain MS Dhoni has announced his retirement from international cricket. Soon after that people started posting messages for him on twitter and instagram, mentioning how much they will miss seeing him on the field.
Since the news broke, there was pin-drop silence in the entire nation. The man who took the country to victory in the 2007 T20 World Cup, as well as the ODI world cup in 2011, will not play for the country anymore. Fans all over the country are extremely heartbroken and cannot fathom this news at all.
Dozens of fans took to social media to react to the news. While some were extremely moved and emotional, many also thanked the man for countless memories on the field.
