Indian cricket team have won the ODI series against New Zealand by 3-0 after winning the third ODI in Indore on Tuesday, 24th January. The team after winning the series trophy gone into the first position of the ICC team rankings in ODIs.
Now Indian cricket team is leading the T20Is and ODIs both the rankings. Not just that but the Indian pace bowler Mohammed Siraj has gained an amazing rating points after this series against New Zealand. Mohammad Siraj has become the new no.1 ODI bowler. ICC released their new rankings on Wednesday, 25th January and it was Mohammed Siraj’s name written at the top with 729 points.
Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood is on the second position with 727 rating points whereas New Zealand’s pacer Trent Boult is on third position with 708 rating points. Siraj has gained a massive respect in the Indian team and his performance is improving day-by-day. It was a great achievement for the Indian pacer to be in the first place of the ICC rankings.
Siraj could be one of the bowlers in the Indian ODI squad list in the coming Australia’s series and could also be seen in the upcoming World Cup 2023.
