Mark Boucher believes Quinton de Kock can play another 100 tests as he plays his 50th test for South Africa

The head coach of South Africa , Mark Boucher presumed that skipper Quinton de Kock could become one of the better players. On Tuesday, De Kock made his 50th appereance in the ongoing first test series Sa vs Pak in Karachi.

In 1997 Boucher who made his debut against Pakistan believes that in the longest format De Kock will play another 100 games.

ESPNcricinfo quoted Boucher saying, “It’s a special occasion for any player. It’s just the start of his career. There’s a possibility another 100 Test matches there for him.”

Boucher appreciated De Kock saying, “Quinny is a special cricketer. He is the type of player opposite team hope doesn’t get into good form as he can take the game away from anyone very fast.”

He also added that, “ the captain has extra responsibility, We’re trying to help him out as much as we can. But I am very happy that he has taken on that role.”

In the ongoing test series against Pakistan Boucher hopes to see the best of the wicket-keeper batsman.

Boucher said, “I know it’s tough at times specially when your performances aren’t going according your expectations. But hopefully we can get the best of Qunniy in this series. It can be good for him as a person, as a captain and also for team.”
