On his YouTube channel, he mentioned everything that makes this series, one of the most anticipated series for a long time. He covered every aspect of this series which will make it an exciting one.

He first mentioned about the 2018 series where India defeated the Australian team in Australia for the first time in history. He feels that Australia will be coming hard after that defeat.

He feels that their pace attack is one of the best line up in the world. The trio of Hazelwood, Cummins and Starc are on top of their game right now and with addition of David Warner and Steve Smith in the team, Indian bowlers will have to bowl their best deliveries more often than usual. He feels that the Australian batting line up is not the same which India faced back in 2018.

He agrees that the Indian bowling line up is the best they have seen in a long time. But this tour will be their test says Waqar Younis. He also acknowledged the fact that this tour is in Australia, so India won’t have that home advantage comfort.

He also talked about the Indian batting line up which has likes of Rahane and Pujara apart from Kohli. He feels that this line up is good for the tests but absence of Kohli will be felt after he leaves the tour. Virat Kohli will be on his paternity leave after the first test as he is expecting his first child.

Waqar added that Rohit and Ishant are big players and if they miss the first two tests as per the reports, India will truly miss them. He said they have to try to get Rohit and Ishant play the tests as they have loads of experience with them which will be crucial for tour.
