
After the end of day 1, Australia stood strong with a total of 274/5. Marnus Labuschagne slammed his 5th Test hundred and score a monstrous 108 in 204 balls. He was dropped on 37 at gully by Ajinkya Rahane but was later got caught by Rishabh Pant at square leg bowled by T Natarajan. The inexperienced Indian bowling line-up was unable to stop the storm of Australia. Mohammad Siraj, Navdeep Saini, Shardul Thakur, T Natarajan, and Washington Sundar are the youngster played for India today.
Natarajan got 2 wickets and put a stop to the storm of Australia. Steve Smith and Labuschagne added 60 runs for the third wicket with a formal looking flaunt in particular.
