Dhruv’s father, Nem Chand, is a retired Havildar who served in the Kargil War in 1999 before voluntarily retiring from service in 2008. Jurel’s maiden fifty was not just a personal milestone but a heartfelt homage to his father’s bravery and sacrifice.
