New Zealand has named a UNCHANGED 13-man squad for their March 9 two-Test series against Sri Lanka. All 13 players from their recent 1-1 draw with England were named, with the exceptions of uncapped seamer Jacob Duffy, legspinner Ish Sodhi, and the injured Kyle Jamieson.

Jamieson, who was left out of the initial England squad, is set to have back surgery for an injury that has kept him out of international cricket since June 2022. Trent Boult, who is out of contract and concentrating on the franchise T20 circuit, is not included.

The two Tests against Sri Lanka are part of the World Test Championship, and while defending champions New Zealand are out of contention for the final, Sri Lanka must sweep the series to have a chance. The first Test will be held in Christchurch, with the second beginning on March 17 in Wellington.
