In response to the English man’s request, the Twitter handle of the Income-tax department of India put out a tweet saying that they were there to help him along with instructions to reprint a physical PAN card. They also followed up by saying that in case the cricketer did not remember his PAN details, he could email them.

Pietersen responded by saying that he had emailed them and had also followed them as well. He wished to speak to someone from the department to discuss the issue further. While the status of the PAN is not known yet, things are looking good for the commentator and he could get his PAN by the time he has to travel.
