Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the reigning champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), have appointed Bollywood star Katrina Kaif as their brand ambassador for the upcoming IPL 2024 season, as reported by ABP News. Alongside this announcement, the franchise has also unveiled a new jersey logo ahead of the tournament.
Katrina Kaif, the renowned actress known for her roles in various Bollywood films, including “Tiger Zinda Hai” and “Ek Tha Tiger,” is married to actor Vicky Kaushal and is also the brand ambassador for Etihad Airways. CSK recently secured a sponsorship deal with Etihad Airways, leading to the collaboration with Katrina.
As part of the partnership, Etihad Airways’ name will appear on the back of the yellow jersey, the iconic attire of the Chennai-based franchise. CSK has already launched its new jersey for the upcoming season.
Heading into the tournament, CSK will be led by their legendary captain, MS Dhoni, who is expected to play his final season in the IPL. With the addition of players like Daryl Mitchell and Rachin Ravindra to their squad, CSK aims to continue their dominance in the league and secure another title.
