In an enthralling moment during the one-off Test match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan, Mahmudul Hasan Joy’s impressive innings came to an end.

Rahmat Shah, the Afghan bowler, struck gold as Joy attempted to cut a shorter delivery outside off. Unfortunately for Joy, his timing was off, resulting in an outside edge. The Afghanistan captain, Ibrahim Zadran, stationed at slip, held onto the catch with glee.

The crucial 212-run partnership between Joy and his batting partner was finally broken, much to the delight of Rahmat Shah. Mahmudul Hasan Joy departed after contributing a resilient 76 runs from 137 balls, including nine boundaries. The dismissal added a twist to the game, emphasizing the intensity and competitive spirit of the ongoing one-off Test encounter.
