The Indian cricket team pacer Jasprit Bumrah is back in the Indian squad after a long injury break which he sustained ahead of Asia Cup 2022. The pacer hasn’t featured for India in some of the recent series. The Indian cricket team is currently playing a three-game ODI series against Sri Lanka which will be starting from Tuesday, 10th January.
Jasprit Bumrah has been picked up for this series against Sri Lanka but is unlikely to play for them. The reports suggested that the Board of Control for Cricket in India is not in hurry to bring back Bumrah in the team as they want him to recover fully.
BCCI wants Bumrah to be 100% fit so it can avoid further injuries to the pacer. Thus to give some more recovery time, the Indian cricket team pacer Jasprit Bumrah is likely to miss the ODI series against Sri Lanka. The Indian cricket team is at Guwahati to play the first ODI of the series on Tuesday, 10th January but Jasprit Bumrah didn’t travel with the team.
