India’s 3rd test against England is just a few days away. The 3rd test will be starting from 25th August in Headingly, Leeds. In this test match, some old records could be broken and some new records could be made. Indian pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, is on the verge of making a new record, which he could do in the 3rd test match against England. Jasprit Bumrah is so close to his 100 wickets in the test cricket as the Indian pacer currently has 95 wickets in 22 matches. He is in superb form. Jasprit Bumrah can become the fastest Indian to take 100 Tests wickets after beating legend Kapil Dev in the next match.
To reach this milestone of 100 wickets in test cricket, Bumrah needs only 5 wickets and fans are expecting that he can get them all in the next match against England at Leeds.
Kapil Dev played 25 matches to reach this milestone, but it is highly expected that Bumrah could do it in just 23 matches. The Indian star bowler took 3 wickets in the 2nd test against England which was played in the Lord’s Cricket Ground and all of these wickets came in the second innings. He was in great form, as he took an important wicket of England’s skipper Joe Root, who scored 180* in the first innings.
Jasprit has been named in the squad for the third test match in Headingly. Indian fans are hoping to win this match and make this lead to 2-0. Bumrah has a greater role to play in this test match as well. Along with his record of being the fastest Indian to reach 100 test wickets, he also will be focusing on winning this match.
