Jason Roy participated for Quetta Gladiators in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL). According to media reports, Roy wants to avoid fatigue by staying in the bio-bubble for a long time, due to which he has withdrawn his name from the league. Even in the year 2020, Jason Roy did not participate in the league. At that time, the team of Delhi Capitals bought Jason Roy Roe for Rs 1.50 crore. After which he refused to participate in the IPL.
England opener Jason Roy has previously associated with the Gujarat Lions, Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad team. He has played only 13 matches in this league so far, in which he has 329 runs to his name. Roy made his league debut in 2017 for Kolkata Knight Riders while playing for Gujarat Lions. Jason Roy is trying to keep himself fit keeping in mind the T20 World Cup to be held in October.
