England’s star opener Jason Roy has withdrawn his name from IPL 2022 citing the COVID-19 bubble as a challenge to stay in the tournament for a longer period. Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya is gearing up for the upcoming IPL in Baroda along with head coach Ashish Nehra and it is a big blow to his team as well as to him as captain.
This season of IPL is to be played for about 2 months. Jason Roy was also a part of PSL recently and then staying in the bio-bubble in IPL would have proved to be a big challenge for Jason Roy.
