Indian cricket team fans had a poor couple of days after hearing the news that their batter KL Rahul is injured and will not be available for the World Test Championship final game that is to be played in the month of June this year. The world Test Championship 2021-23 final game will be played between India and Australia who are the two best teams in the Test cricket currently.
Indian team finsihed second in the table whereas Australian side topped it with ease. Australia lost the Test series against India recently in the month of March when both these teams met in India. India defeated Australia by 2-1 in this 4-match Test series.
However, the news from the centre is that Indian cricket team batter Ishan Kishan has replaced the injured KL Rahul in the squad for the final game. Ishan Kishan will travel to London with the rest of the Indian squad to play the finals of the WTC 2021-23. KL Rahul was assessed for long and it was later on decided that he won’t be able to join the squad for this important game and thus naming a replacement for him was important.
