Ishan Kishan beats veteran player Chris Gayle’s this record in ODI format

The Indian cricket team was on fire in the third ODI against Bangladesh. The Indian cricket team opener Ishan Kishan has created history as he becomes the fourth Indian to score a double century in ODI cricket. The opener scored the quickest Double century in ODI cricket history. Ishan completed his double century in just 126 balls. He hit 24 boundaries and 10 sixes in his fantastic innings. Ishan Kishan scores 210 runs and got dismissed by Taskin Ahmed in the 36th over. India went on to beat Bangladesh by 227 runs in the inconsequential third and final match

In 50-over cricket, Chris Gayle previously held the world record for the fastest double hundred, which was broken by Kishan. At the 2015 ICC World Cup, Gayle played 138 deliveries to reach his double hundred against Zimbabwe. Kishan broke the record by playing 12 deliveries lesser and also made history by becoming the youngest cricketer to score 200 runs in an ODI.
