Irfan Pathan expects a century from Virat Kohli as he tweets a two-word message ahead of the 2nd Test

India is playing against Sri Lanka in the final Test match of the two-match Test series in Bengaluru. Former Indian bowler Irfan Pathan tweets a message for Virat Kohli before the game started as he excepts his 71st hundred in this match.

Virat Kohli is without a single century since November 2019 and now it is been too long that the Indian fans have seen his helmet out with joy. Every Indian fan expected a century from him in the first Test against Sri Lanka which was played in Mohali. That was Virat Kohli’s 100th Test match and he as well his fans was disappointed again as he couldn’t even reach his 50-run mark in the first innings. He fell short of 5 runs and as India won by an innings and 222 runs, Virat didn’t get a chance to bat in the second innings.

But, before the second and final Test match in Bengaluru, former Indian pace bowler Irfan Pathan tweeted a 2-word message on his official Twitter account, “100 loading…” which was for Virat Kohli as he expects a century from him in this match which will be his 71st.  Not only Irfan Pathan but there are a lot of fans and ex-cricketers who want to see the former Indian cricket captain’s (Virat Kohli) 71st century.

Talking about this second Test game which has already been started, India is 2-down and Virat has already walked into the pitch. India has lost two early wickets in the form of Mayank Agarwal and his opening partner Rohit Sharma. It will be interesting to see whether Kohli can bring up his century as now he has a lot of time to do that as he is in the field in the first session of the first day itself.
