Irfan Pathan congratulates Deepak Hooda for his selection in the ODI squad

India is all set to play the three ODI’s at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad from February 6, following the T20 series at Eden Gardens, Kolkata from February 16.

Former Indian All-rounder, Irfan Pathan has congratulated Deepak Hooda for being selected in the India squad for the upcoming ODI series against West Indies starting from February 6.

Irfan congratulates Deepak on Twitter by saying that he has come out of a tough phase and kept fighting. He is proud of Deepak and hopes for him to make the most of the opportunity. He congratulates Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan as well for their selection in the squad.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has also come back to his feet for the series. Right-arm leg spinner, Ravi Bishnoi received his maiden call up Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday picks an 18 member squad for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against West Indies.

Indian fast bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami have been rested from the series, whereas KL Rahul will participate from the second ODI onwards.

Indian All-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja would be undertaking his final stage of recovery post his knee injury and thereby will not play for ODI’s and T20’s, while Axar Patel to play for the T20’s.
