Led team India to many ICC glories during his tenure as the captain of the team and also bagged four IPL titles for Chennai Super Kings and also holds a record for the highest win percentage of matches among the other captains in the tournament.

The 26-year-old allrounder who is selected for the series against West Indies will go under the hammer in the upcoming IPL mega auction which will be held on the 12th and 13th of February in Banglore.
Hindustan Times reported, When asked about the teams he would like to play for in the league, Deepak said, “Chennai Super Kings as his favourite choice” and would be delighted to play under MS Dhoni. But the all-rounder will be looking forward to performing for Men in blue in the white ball series against West Indies.
Deepak Hooda was part of Punjab Kings for a couple of seasons and was not retained by the franchise for the 2022 IPL season. The all-rounder has a total of 261 runs in the 19 matches he played for Punjab Kings in the last two seasons. With a couple of half-centuries to his name with the best score of 64.
