“You might see few cheeky shots in IPL,” says Shubman Gill ahead of the tournament

Shubman Gill looks ready to start the new season of IPL with a boom. The Indian opener will be in the new franchise named Gujrat Titans and he sees it as a new challenge.

Indian cricket team opening batter Shubman Gill was seem confident during his interview to TOI. He addressed some of the things related to his batting and his new IPL team named Gujrat Titans. The opener sees playing his new IPL team as a new challenge and feels it will be a great opportunity for him to represent Gujrat in the new season of the Indian Premier League.

“I worked on a few new shots during rehab at NCA, you might see few cheeky shots in IPL,” says Shubman Gill as TOI reports.

It will be interesting to see Shubman play as he will be playing under Hardik Pandya’s captaincy. Hardik, Rashid Khan, and Shubman were reserved players after the team’s name was announced. Hardik Pandya was chosen as the captain and it will be the first time that Hardik will be the skipper in the IPL. The former Mumbai Indians all-rounder wasn’t retained by his former franchise before this year’s mega auction.

Gujrat Titans will be playing their first game of the IPL on Monday, 28th March against Lucknow Super Giants.
