Will we see another sizzling performance from Marcus Stoinis against CSK?

The opening match between Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Capitals was nothing less than a firework. A performance that was very special that evening was from Marcus Stoinis, who completely changed the game. The men from Punjab had a good grip on the match and took control of the game until Stoinnis walked down.

Stoinis scored a blistering 53 runs off just 21 balls to help DC reach a respectable score of 157 runs for the Kings XI to chase. Initially, the DC scoreboard read 96 at the end of the 16 over but with 30 runs conceded off the last over they crossed the 150 mark. It was an interesting display of cricket by the batsman from Australia.

Not just with the bat, Stoinis also became the talk of the town for his performance with the ball in the most crucial time. After Mayank Agarwal’s performance, it looked like KXIP would take the game home. The side needed 1 run in 3 balls when Stoinis strikes again. He took 2 wickets in the last 2 balls which helped the side take to super over where they won the match.

In the tie against MS Dhoni’s men, the DC fans will be hopeful that they can see similar fireworks from Stoinis’s bat that can help win the game. But are we likely to see the show or was it a single match performance?
