In a moment of pure frustration, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Nitish Kumar Reddy threw his helmet on the ground after getting bowled by Ravi Bishnoi during the IPL 2025 match between SRH and LSG at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
The dismissal came in the 15th over when Bishnoi bowled a length delivery straight on middle, and Reddy stepped forward to loft it over but missed completely — the middle-stump was rattled. Bishnoi celebrated with a fist pump and a loud “come on,” while Nitish, visibly upset with himself, removed his helmet while walking back into pavillion and angrily throwing it infurstation. His innings ended at 32 off 28 balls, including two fours.

Earlier in the match, tempers had flared when Ravi Bishnoi was involved in a heated exchange with umpire Abhijit Bhattacharya. The LSG spinner was convinced he had Nitish Reddy LBW in the 11th over when Reddy missed a reverse sweep. The on-field umpire turned down the appeal, prompting Bishnoi and captain Rishabh Pant to take the DRS, which returned an umpire’s call on hitting.
Though technically correct, Bishnoi was visibly annoyed by the decision and was later seen arguing with the umpire while watching the replay on the big screen. Bhattacharya tried to explain that the ball was sliding down leg, but Bishnoi was clearly unimpressed.
Nitish’s eventual dismissal and his animated reaction summed up a tense middle phase of the match, where Lucknow Super Giants clawed their way back with timely breakthroughs, halting SRH’s momentum.
