Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir, and Naveen-ul-Haq fined for breaching IPL code of conduct

Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir and Naveen-ul-Haq has been fined their match fees for breaching IPL code of conduct.

After the game between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore, the things went wrong on the field as there was a verbal fight between two teams. Royal challengers Bangalore won against Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs at Lucknow and it was a game where some players breached code of conduct of the tournament.

Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq exchanged some heated words during the game and it was forwarded during the handshake. It wasn’t a good atmosphere at Lucknow after the game as both the team’s players were engaged in separating both the players.

Later, mentor of LSG, Gautam Gambhir joined the conversation and breached the code of conduct of IPL for which he was also fined.

Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir was fined his 100% match fee and the LSG pacer Naveen-ul-Haq was fined 50% of his match fee.

Fines for breaching the IPL Code Of Conduct yesterday:

Virat Kohli – 1.07cr (100%).

Gautam Gambhir – 25 Lakhs (100%).

Naveen Ul Haq – 1.79 Lakhs (50%).
