The first Saturday of IPL is going to be super entertaining for the spectators. In the first match being played on Saturday, Mumbai Indians won the toss and invited Rajasthan to bat first. The start of this IPL was also not very special for Mumbai Indians and the team lost their first match of this season to Delhi Capitals. Suryakumar Yadav is still injured for Mumbai Indians and is also out of the match against Rajasthan Royals.
Jos Buttler and Yashaswi Jaiswal started the opening once again for Rajasthan. Rajasthan Royals made a decent start to in front of the pair of Daniel Sams and Jasprit Bumrah, but in the second over of Jasprit Bumrah, Yashaswi Jaiswal lost his wicket after scoring 1 run. After Jaiswal’s wicket fell, Jos Butler took over the innings and hit 3 sixes in an over from Baisal Thampi.
Due to the brilliant batting of Jos Butler, the powerplay was in the name of Rajasthan Royals and scored 48 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. But on the last ball of the power play, Tymal Mills took the wicket of Devdutt Paddikal to get Mumbai Indians back in the match. Tymal Mills conceded only 1 run in the last over of the powerplay and took the crucial wicket of Devdutt Paddikal.
