According to a tweet from Jio Cinema, Chris Gayle, who has previously dominated the Indian Premier League, will return in the 2023 IPL Mini Auction. On December 23, the streaming service tweeted that it would broadcast the IPL 2023 Mini Auction. Over 400 players from India and abroad have registered for the BCCI-hosted event, which will take place in Kochi. It should be noted that Gayle’s name is missing from the list of 405 players. Therefore, Gayle won’t be for sale at the December 23 IPL Mini Auction 2023. Although Jio Cinema’s tweet was unclear, it appears Gayle will be one of the show’s guests.

IPL legend Gayle is a dashing West Indian batsman. He has participated in the league for three distinct organizations. He started out playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He spent three seasons with them before moving on to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and he played for Punjab Kings for more than two seasons before leaving the IPL. In 142 IPL appearances, Gayle scored 4965 runs at a strike rate of 148.96 and an average of 39.72. The highest score in IPL history and his highest score is 175. Gayle has hit 405 fours and 357 sixes so far in the competition.
