Wasim Jaffer, a former Indian cricketer, has come out in support of the Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians ahead of their match against the Lucknow Super Giants tonight. In a conversation with CricTracker’s ‘Not Just Cricket Show,’ Jaffer stated, “ We hope Mumbai Indians opens their account in today’s game. The bowlers have to step up for them and be economical and take wickets as well”.
After falling to Royal Challengers Bangalore in their previous match, LSG will be looking to get back on track. MI, on the other hand, were defeated in a thriller by the Chennai Super Kings, bringing their season record to seven defeats. Apart from their middle-order troubles, LSG have checked all the criteria so far this season. On the other hand, the Mumbai Indians are all so out of the playoff race.
LSG have swapped injured pacer Avesh Khan with Mohsin Khan, while MI have kept their squad unchanged.
