TATA IPL 2022: Watching rate falls as Star Sports dips down in Top Channels List

Star Sports has dropped down to 4th position in Top Channels List.

The Indian Premier Leagues, despite adding two new teams who were supposedly representing Lucknow and Gujarat as their prime fans, have been suffering this year in terms of viewing rate.

Twitter trolls, disinterested fans, and a lot of reasons have been added up to dig down in watching IPL this summer.

Many fans believe that Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, because of their dominance and sheer determination have gained a huge fan following and marked up to almost half the fan base for the IPL, and their failure this season has somehow affected the IPL watching drop too.

Star Sports 1  have been dropped to No. 4 as SUN TV, Star MAA, and Star Plus rise to the top 3 positions in channels of the week.

Statistically seen, even Maharashtra, Delhi, and Tamil Nadu fan count has been deteriorating in terms of view counts.
