Suryakumar Yadav completes his 2000 runs in the Indian Premier League for Mumbai Indians franchise in the 44th match of ongoing season against the Rajasthan Royals on Saturday.
Suryakumar Yadav has been in fantastic form recently, despite his Mumbai Indians (MI) struggling to find their footing in the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL). The right-hander has been in excellent form since returning from an injury layoff.
With a strike rate of 150 and an average of 55.80, Yadav is currently ranked eighth in the orange cap standings.
While Rajasthan, who is now in second place on the table, has only lost two games and has won six, Mumbai is already out of chance for a playoff spot, having lost all eight of their games thus far.
