Sunil Narine, the outstanding all-rounder for the two-time champion Kolkata Knight Riders, became the first player to play 150 games for the team on Monday.

From delivering KKR some rapid starts as an opener to controlling their middle-order to boosting the bottom order, Narine has remained KKR’s go-to player at practically all the batting situations during the 10 years.

Narine is also the franchise’s leading wicket-taker. He has 165 wickets to his record, with the best bowling statistics of 5/19. In the meanwhile, he has bowled at a 6.58 economy rate.

Narine, a Caribbean all-rounder, has a strike rate of 162.13 and has scored 976 runs in 140 games in the tournament.

The 33-year-old Narine scored 977 runs in 149 games with KKR, with a strike rate of 161.48. For the franchise, his greatest score is 75 not out. 59 sixes and 108 fours were hit by the left-handed hitter.
