Shikhar Dhawan of the Punjab Kings has beaten Suresh Raina of the Chennai Super Kings’ record for most runs taken against the Mumbai Indians. Dhawan currently has the most runs against the five-time IPL champions with 871 runs from 27 innings.
On Wednesday night, Dhawan was in fine form, delighting the Pune fans with a smooth innings of 70 off 50 balls, which included five boundaries and three sixes. He contributed 97 runs with Mayank Agarwal, the PBKS captain and his opening partner.
